Great South African Golfing Getaways

In every issue of SA Golf Trader we visit a different region of our beautiful country. The reason for these visits is simple, we get to travel, play golf across the country and stay at fantastic venues. Gee, we really do work hard! But on a serious note, the real reason behind the visits is that we believe that there are so many excellent “Golfing Destinations” in South Africa. There are also numerous undiscovered gems, courses that you don’t normally hear of but that are absolutely superb.

We put together a feature where the reader can find out exactly what the region has to offer. Not only do we list and review the courses in the area but we give the low-down on other activities that will interest the golfer and non-golfer alike. We then highlight a variety of accommodation options to suit all budgets, we try and find the better restaurants that are available, we seek out the nearest spas and health centres and we identify the tourist attractions.
