Where to visit for your next golfing vacation? By George, I think I’ve got it! (Nov/Dec 2011 edition)

Situated approximately 430 kilometers out of Cape Town, George is widely regarded as the hub of the Southern Cape Region, and an ideal base from which to explore the Southern Cape and Little Karoo.

George is easily accessible with a good road network and George Airport which links the Southern Cape and Little Karoo vicinity to the major centers of South Africa. It is the business hub of the region and offers a variety of conference amenities, restaurants, accommodation facilities, tourist attractions and activities.

From a golfers point of view it is a smorgasbord with world renowned courses where every level of golfer can find their niche, golf academies and the Ernie Els Foundation. We spent two weeks there; had you the time I guess you could spend a year!
